1990
Steve Barone formed Creative Breakthroughs, Inc. (CBI) in 1990 upon leaving ITT Courier's National Sales division. CBI's early focus was the emerging "client-server" technology. From here CBI went on to become one of the first Novell Gold dealerships in the country.
1993
CBI realized the need for remote access and simplification of the infrastructure in 1993. This recognition lead to a partnership with start-up Citrix Systems out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. CBI quickly became a premier partner with Citrix, forming a solid partnership which thrives today. Citrix has since grown to become the 14th largest software company in the world.
1999
As the need for security began to grow and increase in importance, CBI started focusing a core portion of business on the security sector.
2005
Today, CBI is the #1 high-end Symantec reseller in the 19 state region. President Steve Barone holds one of four North American seats on Symantec's prestigious Global Partner Council. CBI also has been awarded a membership in the VAR 500. |
