Upon being dispatched and arriving on site, our consultants immediately begin working with your staff to establish a prioritized plan of action. We learn the history, analyze the threat(s), and take the appropriate steps necessary. We will advise on the proper decision to provide on-site or remote services, depending on the level of effort required and cost considerations.
Having a well-defined incident response plan is the first step in completing a successful remediation engagement. CBI will develop a top-down approach in analyzing the situation, designing the remediation tasks, and managing the overall incident life-cycle. We will work closely with your team members to seamlessly provide the interaction and communication required during the engagement.
Using best practices, industry standards, and our own experience – CBI can define a roadmap and response policy that will ensure an effective approach is taken with any future incidents. This includes but is not limited to technical training, business continuity planning, and overall review of processes maturity.
Reporting is a major component of the IRT’s post engagement deliverable. The information derived from the incident will be captured and presented in plain English, yet still technically beneficial.
